Minnesota snowmobing trails

The snow is falling right now with about 5-6" on the ground. I is the start of winter for snowmobiling. The lake did freeze last night but with all of the snow coming down today that will slow the process somewhat. When ever the snow gets on the ice before it gets to thick it insulates the ice so it slows the process down some. It is a good start for the snowmobile trails around northern Minnesota. If you visit our resort you will find that the trails to the north are seldom used and are some of the best ones to explore. They are still groomed but it seems people want to stay closer to Bemidji and then are forced to ride with other snowmobilers on the trails. visit http://www.whitebirchresort.net/ for more details
